1. Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy explains how KodeFrames BuiltApps Enterprises, operating publicly as KodeFrames, handles personal data in connection with the KodeFrames website and direct communications initiated through the contact details published on the website.

For personal data where KodeFrames determines why and how that data is processed, KodeFrames BuiltApps Enterprises acts as the data controller. This policy is intended to be read together with the Cookie Policy and Terms of Use.

2. Personal data we may process

The website currently does not provide an on-site contact or enquiry submission form. Project and general enquiries are routed to the published KodeFrames email address.

The categories of personal data processed therefore depend principally on what you choose to send and on the technical information required to operate and secure the website.

• Email correspondence may include your name, email address, organisation or business details, project information, attachments, and any other information you voluntarily include in your message.
• Website and hosting infrastructure may process technical request information required to serve and secure requests, such as an IP address, request path, browser or user-agent information, timestamps, response information, and related security or diagnostic records, depending on infrastructure and logging configuration.

3. Why we process personal data

KodeFrames processes personal data only where there is a relevant purpose connected to the website, a communication you initiate, the evaluation or delivery of requested work, security, administration, or a legal requirement.

• To receive, understand, and respond to enquiries sent to KodeFrames.
• To discuss a prospective software-engineering, technical-publishing, consultation, or related engagement.
• To take appropriate steps requested before entering into an engagement and, where applicable, to administer an agreed engagement.

4. Lawful bases

The lawful basis used for a particular processing activity depends on the circumstances. 5. Contact by email

Selecting an email link on the website opens a mailto destination in your browser or configured email application. The KodeFrames website does not currently receive the contents of that message through an on-site form.

When you send an email, your message is transmitted through the email services and infrastructure used by you and by the receiving mailbox. Information contained in the message should therefore be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the enquiry.

6. Cookies, analytics, and browser storage

The current verified website implementation uses an ASP.NET Core antiforgery cookie for security. It is an essential application cookie rather than an analytics, advertising, or marketing cookie.

KodeFrames does not currently configure website analytics, advertising, marketing tracking, third-party iframe embeds, or application use of localStorage or sessionStorage on the public website. If the implementation materially changes, the relevant policy information will be updated.

7. Service providers and disclosure

KodeFrames does not publish personal correspondence merely because it is received through the public contact address.

Personal data may be handled by service providers that support functions such as web hosting, infrastructure, email, security, backup, or other business operations where such processing is necessary. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect rights or security, or relevant to establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.

KodeFrames does not state that personal data is sold to advertisers, and the current website does not implement advertising technology.

8. Processing across locations

Internet, hosting, email, and infrastructure services can involve processing in more than one jurisdiction. Where personal data is transferred or processed outside Nigeria, KodeFrames will consider the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law and the circumstances of the relevant service.

This policy does not claim that every technical request or email is transferred to a particular country because the exact processing location can depend on the infrastructure and service providers involved.

KodeFrames does not apply one fixed retention period to every category of personal data. The website's observed antiforgery cookie is part of the ASP.NET Core request-security mechanism and is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict in the verified runtime baseline.

Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, other applicable law, the circumstances of the processing, and any lawful limitations or exemptions, you may have rights in relation to personal data concerning you.
